Antwort der zentralen Frauenbeauftragten der HU auf unsere Anfragen/ Answer of the Women's representative of the HU to our requests

english version below

At the 29th of january 2013 we’ve sent a letter to the women’s representative of the Humboldt-University in which we asked for help and support for our project. In a detailed letter we explained our critique to the self representation of the HU. Precisely we asked for the possibility to display our leaflets with approval some place in the main building and we asked for support for a follow-up of our intervention last summer. Given that our project deals with interdependent discrimination forms and therefore also explicitly with sexism in the self representation of the HU, we were hoping to get a positive answer. When we did not get any answer for two weeks, we wrote again asking for feedback and we got the confirmation from an employee of the women’s representative headquarter that they had received our letter and that they would reply soon.
In march we sent another letter amongst others to the women’s representative in which we dealed critically with the request for proposal process for a Lise Meitner sculpture that is going to placed in the front yard of the main building october this year.

At april 15th we received a letter from the women's representative of the HU in which she apologizes for answering so late and invites us to discuss our critique of the self representation of the HU and our critique of the request for proposal process for the Lise Meitner sculpture together with her and the curator of the HU. We are looking forward to this.
